LuckyTruck raises $3.5 million
LuckyTruck, a digital broker and aggregator specializing in commercial trucking insurance, is disclosing a $3.5 million seed round and strategic partnership with global specialty insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint. The partnership will enable SiriusPoint to gain insights into the evolution and behavior of the small commercial trucking segment and potentially develop insurance products in the space.
Founded by former CoverWallet employee Devin Bostick, LuckyTruck is a niche broker and aggregator that’s on a mission to make trucking insurance simpler. The company offers truckers a range of insurance products and a transaction can be completed online or offline.
