Loggerhead will assume specific Progressive policies in Florida

Progressive is set to issue non-renewal notices to around 115,000 home insurance policyholders in Florida.

Loggerhead has announced a deal with Progressive to provide alternative policies for the affected customers.

These non-renewal notifications will start going out in late December, with policies taking effect from May 2024 onwards. Loggerhead plans to send their policy offers in early 2024.

Progressive shared that this move aims to adjust their market presence in Florida.

They emphasized their commitment to the Florida market but noted the need to recalibrate their portfolio in cooperation with state officials and regulatory bodies.
