Lockton Named to Forbes’ List of Best Employers for Second Straight Year

For the second straight year, Lockton Companies has been named to Forbes’ list of America’s Best Employers in the mid-size company category . The list, which contains only 300 mid-size employers nationwide, is compiled based on a survey that asks employees how likely they are to recommend their employers to someone else. In addition, survey participants are asked how they feel about other employers in their industry.

“We are honored to be named to Forbes’ America’s Best Employers list again this year,” said Glenn Spencer, Lockton’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “The fact that we were chosen based on feedback from our Associates as well as others in our industry makes it even more special.”

In Lockton’s 50-year history, its Associates have driven the company’s growth from a local and regional operation to a global professional services firm. By attracting the best talent in the insurance industry, Lockton continues to build on its accomplishments, including 96 percent client loyalty. Lockton Associates enjoy the freedom, resources and personal responsibility to meet their clients’ needs, no matter what it takes. In addition to receiving this distinction from Forbes, Business Insurance magazine has awarded Lockton the Best Place to Work in Insurance for eight straight years.

“At Lockton, we strive to create an environment where people choose to work here and want to stay with Lockton throughout their careers,” said Ed Schloesslin, Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources. “This recognition from Forbes is further proof that we are making progress towards our goal of being the employer of choice.”
