Liberty Mutual retires Workgrid after eight years

Liberty Mutual has retired its Workgrid Software business, ending an internal software venture launched in 2017 to commercialize enterprise productivity tools.

Workgrid Software was introduced as a standalone SaaS company, offering a digital assistant designed to integrate workplace systems and streamline daily tasks. The flagship product, Workgrid Assistant, aimed to act as a centralized hub for communications, workflows, and enterprise applications.

The company was wound down in mid-2025. Liberty Mutual said employees were largely reassigned across its broader technology organization.
