Liberty Mutual Canada launches Environmental Protection Insurance Coverage

Liberty Mutual Canada announced its new Environmental Protection Insurance Coverage product, which combines general liability and environmental liability coverages- including full pollution and product pollution coverages – into a single package.

EPIC provides cover for fixed-site manufacturing, distribution, and processing facilities with environmental risk exposures. Through its combined coverage, EPIC helps eliminate potential gaps that may exist when multiple insurers, underwriters, and products are involved in developing an insurance solution.

Highlights of the EPIC product include worldwide coverage for pollution incidents stemming from a company’s products and work; miscellaneous pollution coverage on an occurrence basis; claims made site pollution liability coverage; on-site pre-existing clean-up coverage; and other critical coverages.
