Legal & General announces board changes

Legal & General has announced several board updates, effective in 2024 and 2025, as part of its long-term succession strategy:

• Henrietta Baldock will assume the role of Senior Independent Director (SID) on May 21, 2025, succeeding Lesley Knox. Baldock has been a Non-Executive Director since 2018 and currently chairs Legal & General Assurance Society Limited (LGAS).
• Mark Jordy will join the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director on July 1, 2025. Currently chair of Legal & General Investment Management (Holdings) Limited (LGIM(H)), Jordy brings extensive asset management experience.
• Carolyn Johnson will take over as Designated Workforce Director on April 1, 2025, succeeding Nilufer Kheraj.
• Lesley Knox and Philip Broadley will retire in 2025 after nine years as Non-Executive Directors, with Knox stepping down on May 21 and Broadley on August 31.

These changes align with Legal & General’s growth objectives and focus on strategic oversight.
