League Inc Digital Platform to Enter Insurance

Canadian digital health and wellness startup League Inc announced it has teamed up with RBC Insurance to sell life and health insurance products; currently in Ontario with plans to expand to US over the next 6 months. The announcement follows similar strategies by other software startups such as Gravie and SoFi, which plan to enter the life and/or health insurance space. Bottom Line: low barrier to entry.
