Kyle Vogt exits Cruise

Cruise co-founder and CEO Kyle Vogt has resigned from his role at the autonomous vehicle venture owned by General Motors.

Vogt, who co-founded the company in 2013, posted on X that he plans to spend time with family and explore “some new ideas.”

Last month, the California DMV suspended Cruise’s autonomous vehicle deployment and driverless testing permits and the company later announced that it is pausing all driverless operations.
