Koala launches Missed Connection Compensation insurance

Paris-based travel insurance provider Koala Insurance  has launched Missed Connection Compensation (MCC) insurance for connecting flights.

The product covers travelers for missed connections whether due to a flight delay, cancellation, or diversion. Koala MCC insurance tracks connecting flights at all the airports around the world and supports both traditional and Virtual Interline connections.

As soon as a breach of connection is detected, Koala sends a message to the traveler, and with ‘one click’ the bank transfer is initiated. This insurance requires no proof or justification to claim.
