Kanguro launches pet insurance

Last year, we covered Kanguro Seguro, a new insurance startup that looked to enter the pet space.

Today, the Miami-based startup has officially launched its pet insurance product, which is underwritten by Cimarron Insurance Company.

Kanguro offers a bilingual shopping experience to assist Spanish speakers. Users can obtain a quote online or through the Kanguro app. Coverage is available in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

The startup claims that it already sold 1,000 policies.
