Just Move In raises $8 million

Just Move In, a UK-based provider of services related to a home move, has raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Eos Ventures, with participation from Wayra (the innovation arm of Telefónica), and Second Century Ventures.

Founded in 2015, the company offers a home setup service that helps movers with different aspects such as finding moving companies, notifying local authorities, turning on water and energy services, and more. With the backing of Eos Ventures, Just Move In plans to introduce insurance products to its customer base.

The company claims to manage over 300,000 moves in the UK, close to 10% of the UK market.
