Jones raises $15 million

Jones , an insurance verification platform for real estate and construction, has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by NewSpring Capital, with participation from Hetz Ventures, Camber Creek, Khosla Ventures, and others, bringing its total funding to $38 million.

Founded in 2017, Jones initially offered pay-as-you-go liability insurance for contractors in partnership with Chubb, Atlas, and Rockingham Insurance. Now headquartered in NYC with a team of ~170, the company provides software that helps real estate and construction firms mitigate insurance risks, streamline compliance, and reduce third-party claims.

Clients like Kier Construction in Utah use Jones for Certificate of Insurance (COI) management, while CMiC integrates Jones’ COI verification capabilities into its ERP platform to enhance subcontractor insurance compliance.
