Jetty & the Egg Shell Cracker

NYC-based Jetty announced it has raised $11.5M in a Series A round led by Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, bringing its total funding to date to $15.5M. The startup was established by Michael Rudoy (CEO) and Luke Cohler (President / Chairman) back in 2016 yet went live in April. But you knew that. Here’s something new: Luke wakes up at 6:30 am to work on his posture at New York Pilates. Michael just bought an egg shell cracker on Amazon, which sells for $11.99. This well-designed cracker is all you’ll need, whether you like your eggs hard or soft.

Planning on inviting Luke for lunch? We’ve got his favorite spot: De Maria, a chic creative cafe serving stuff like Chili-Tumeric Bone Broth and Cheese Biscuit with guava jam, and butter. Planning on drinking coffee with Michael? Well, he takes his coffee “straight up” just as his favorite rapper would say. Oh, and if you’re interested in a nice ice-breaker? Luke is currently listening to the podcast “My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark”, while Michael is watching “Black Mirror”.
