Jen Kyung to lead Nationwide’s P&C Business Performance Office

Nationwide is appointing Jen Kyung to lead its new Property and Casualty Business Performance Office.

The P&C Business Performance Office will collaborate with Nationwide’s P&C businesses to identify common approaches, tools and best practices that can be shared across the P&C organization to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Kyung spent more than five years at USAA, where she led underwriting strategy and innovation, integrating AI solutions, automation and enhanced data analytics to improve underwriting precision and customer solutions. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at Ernst & Young, where she led underwriting business transformations; Zurich Insurance, where she oversaw large-scale strategic initiatives; and Accenture, where she built foundational expertise in P&C underwriting operations in Commercial and Personal Lines.

“Nationwide’s P&C business is widely regarded across the industry as best in class. My goal is to take the work the talented and high-performing associates are doing to the next level by finding ways to do things more efficiently to the betterment of our customers and distribution partners.” – Jen Kyung.

“Jen brings a data-driven approach to business transformation and a leadership style that fosters collaboration and innovation which makes her the perfect choice for this role. We look forward to the impact she will make as we continue to build on our strong momentum across the P&C organization.” – Mark Berven, President and Chief Operating Officer of Nationwide Property & Casualty.
