Company to note. The Remote Life. Think: a new Indian travel startup targeting freelancers and/or entrepreneurs that can work remotely, with the proposition of ‘you work, while we handle the rest’. Let me explain. The Remote Life offers group travel packages for some ~30 peeps that want to work while traveling the world. In return, it promises to handle the logistics: where to stay, where to work, and of course which travel insurance to purchase. Each individual is required to pay $1,300 a month for this luxury working. As it stands, in April, the company will start with a tour to Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. In May, to Siam Reap in Cambodia and Koh Lanta. And in June, to Thailand.
Bottom Line: if only Bunker (coverage for freelancers) and Crossbordr (coverage for international businesses) had a baby…
