Insurance Office Of America welcomes Brian Chu to its western division
Insurance Office of America welcomed Brian Y. Chu, CIC, CLCS, to its Western Division team. Brian brings over a decade of operational, technical, and technological experience to IOA, and he will be based out of the Encino, California, branch location.

Brian possesses a keen knowledge of complex risk mitigation strategies coupled with an emphasis on working with closely-held private enterprises across a variety of industries. Prior to joining IOA, Brian served as senior vice president for a California-based national insurance agency and top-tier organizations, focusing on their strategic partnerships, business development, and risk management programs.
“IOA understands the complexities of risk management in today’s environment. With its strong relationships, I knew it would be a place where I could bring my expertise and industry knowledge to the table, serve clients well, and thrive,” said Brian.
Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He holds the certified insurance counselor (CIC) and commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designations.
Brian serves on the board of the Valley Economic Alliance and has been recognized by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal as 2019 Insurance Advisor of the Year. In 2023, he was appointed as a commissioner for the El Pueblo De Los Angeles Historical Monument.
