Insurance is the New Beer

Liberty Mutual has selected Goodby Silverstein & Partners as its new creative agency, ending its relationship with Havas Worldwide, which has been Liberty’s go-to for creative since 2013.

“Insurance is the new beer – it’s a category full of great creative work and big budgets . We’re really excited to enter the fray on behalf of Liberty Mutual. They are smart, driven and really collaborative as client partners, and we believe we’ll do some famous work they will benefit from” – GS&P Managing Partner Brian McPherson.

The San Fran-based advertising agency was founded in 1983, and has initiated the Got Milk? campaign back in 1993. More recently it introduced for Tostitos the Party Safe Bag, the first bag of chips that gets you home safe, and Adobe’s “Make a Masterpiece”, in which Adobe challenged four digital artists from its Behance artist community to faithfully and intricately re-create lost, stolen or destroyed art using just Adobe Stock photography inside the Creative Cloud.

Bottom Line: if it’s good enough for Pepsi, it’s good enough for Liberty.
