Insurance Brokerage Firm Esedra Acquires DarWinsurance

Milan-based DarWinsurance, aka the first Italian social insurance (P2P) platform, was acquired by Lecco-based insurance brokerage firm Esedra Srl, according to the LinkedIn profile of one of its cofounders .

Refresher: DarWinsurance was established in 2016 by Yuri Poletto (founder and CEO), Kumar Gaurav (founder and CTO), and Tommaso Sala (founder and COO) to offer travel insurance from multiple insurers, including AIG, with a cash-back incentive in the event that no claims have been made.
