Insight Risk partners with Great American Insurance Company

Insight Risk Technologies has partnered with Great American Insurance Group .

Founded in 2021, Insight Risk is a managing general agent focused on the builder’s risk market. It combines insurance with sensor-based loss prevention technology to reduce water and fire-related claims on construction sites. The company works directly with carriers, brokers, and construction firms to deliver bundled or standalone IoT risk management solutions.

In 2023, Velocity HoldCo acquired a majority stake in Insight Risk to support its growth and expand its specialty insurance platform. However, according to a company spokesperson, Insight Risk is no longer part of Velocity HoldCo.

According to LinkedIn, Insight Risk Technologies has a team of 13, reflecting an 18% increase in headcount over the past year.
