Inbox Health raised $1.5 to reinvent patient billing
Patient billing and payment software Inbox Health announced it has raised $1.5 million in a Seed round led by Connecticut Innovations. The CT-based startup offers a software that helps patients understand coverage and costs before their doctor visits, and also streamlines patient billing. Recall: last year Inbox Health merged with CakeHealth, which launched in 2010 to help consumers better manage and track their medical costs and insurance data. Bottom Line: clearer healthcare bills.
