IMA adds $400M wealth management team through CFS partnership

IMA Financial Group  is expanding its investment advisory business with the addition of Coordinated Financial Services (CFS), a Colorado-based wealth management firm overseeing more than $400 million in client assets.

The CFS team joined IMA Advisors on May 1 and will operate as part of IMA Private Wealth. The move pushes IMA’s registered investment advisor business above $8 billion in total assets, including retirement plans and institutional investors.

The transaction adds three private wealth advisors and strengthens IMA’s presence in Colorado, which the company described as a priority market.

The addition follows several recent moves by IMA Advisors, including partnerships with institutional investment advisor Syntrinsic, diligence firm RedRidge, and TRG Investment Advisors, a retirement plan and private wealth manager based in New England.
