IAG creates new growth and simplification role

Insurance Australia Group ( IAG ) appointed Amanda Whiting to a newly created role as Group Executive, Enterprise Growth and Simplification, expanding its Group Leadership Team.

Whiting has led IAG’s New Zealand business as CEO for the past four and a half years and will now focus on enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at improving growth and reducing operational complexity. The new role is intended to support customer retention, operational efficiency, and execution of the group’s broader strategy.

Phil Gibson has been appointed Chief Executive of IAG New Zealand, effective immediately.
