Hyundai announces Evolve+ EV subscription program

Hyundai Motor America in partnership with Hyundai Capital America announced its new Evolve+ electric vehicle subscription service.

The new program, which will solely focus on electric vehicles, is a month-to-month subscription service that covers 1,000 miles, insurance, maintenance, registration, and road-side assistance at a starting price of $699 per month for a Kona Electric and $899 per month for an IONIQ 5. The subscriber can cancel at any time during each subscription period.

Users start the process by downloading the Evolve+ app, to later reserve a vehicle, select terms, and pick it up from the dealership. The program is live at dealerships in the following cities: Boulder, Colorado; Westminster, Colorado; Hillsboro, Oregon; Florence, South Carolina; Clarksville, Maryland; Marlton, New Jersey; and Holyoke, Massachusetts. Additional dealerships in other states are expected to come online throughout the year.

All Evolve+ vehicles come with liability, collision, and comprehensive insurance provided by Liberty Mutual.
