HUK-COBURG acquires Neodigital Autoversicherung

HUK-COBURG  is taking full ownership of Neodigital Autoversicherung AG, the digital motor insurance joint venture it launched with Neodigital Versicherung AG in 2023. The insurer is increasing its stake from 51% to 100% in two steps.

Since its launch, Neodigital Autoversicherung has attracted over 165,000 policyholders with its tech-forward approach, including proprietary telematics, automated claims handling, and digital customer management. The company operates in one of Germany’s most competitive segments.

Alongside the acquisition, HUK-COBURG and Neodigital Versicherung are forming NDA Tech GmbH, a new joint venture to provide IT services for Neodigital Autoversicherung.

Neodigital Versicherung AG ( Neodigital ), founded in 2016, will continue focusing on digital P&C products and white-labeled insurance offerings for partners. Its backers include HUK-COBURG, Elevat3 Capital, HDI Versicherung, and Deutsche Rück.
