Homelyfe launches B2B platform to enable digital innovation at start-up speed

Insurtech start-up Homelyfe, which announced a partnership with ING’s smart money app Yolt last week, has launched a new digital insurance platform.

The Aventus platform allows businesses to create a seamless buying experience for any insurance line, in any digital environment, at start-up speed.

Homelyfe was founded in 2015, with a mission to make insurance simple and customer-centric by streamlining the quote process.  When co-founders Peter Goodman and Andrew Craven approached the market to build the digital MGA there wasn’t a tech stack available to suit the frictionless buy flow they envisioned, so they built the Aventus platform from scratch.  Homelyfe showcases the Aventus technology and demonstrates the power of its data-driven approach.

The team is now collaborating with insurers and MGAs to provide the endpoints for innovation, whether this be the digitisation of books or diminished question sets for any insurance line, allowing for insurance quotes to be delivered in seconds.  The platform is highly configurable, allowing insurers to innovate across any insurance line at start-up speed, as it enables changes to be made to both functionality and branding in real-time, without any coding.

Peter Goodman, CEO and co-founder, Homelyfe comments: “We’re delighted to announce our focus on the B2B market with the launch of the Aventus platform.  Incumbents can look to test new products on the Aventus platform because it eradicates the capital risk and delivery failure.

My previous venture was ultimately acquired by Salesforce, and our vision is to do for insurance buying what Salesforce did for CRM.  Salesforce has created a platform that enables businesses to build, develop and digitise their business, and the Aventus platform allows an old industry to innovate at start-up speed.”
