Holibob raises $12 million
Holibob , a London-based travel technology company, closed a $12 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Ryan Howsman, founder and CEO of British travel insurance company Staysure .
Founded in 2019, Holibob is a technology company that helps operators, travel brands, and DMOs put the right products in front of the right people at the right time.
The round comes after the company acquired TourismSolved, an Australian digital marketing agency for travel companies, in April.
“With the expertise we have in place and the infusion of capital from this funding round, we’re well positioned to realise our vision of helping the tours and attractions industry effortlessly connect the right products with the right travellers at the right time. We’re thrilled to see investors recognize both the growth our team has already generated as well as the opportunity still in front of us to bring the tours and attractions space into a new age of context-driven commerce.” – Craig Everett, founder and chief executive of Holibob.
In order to spur growth for its partners, such as Amadeus, KAYAK, and SecretEscapes, Holibob said it will use the financing to accelerate innovation in machine learning, marketing technology, content optimization, and customer experiences.
