Haven Life launches 100% no medical exam product and new API solutions

Haven Life is rolling out a new 100% no medical exam product that can be sold directly through partners such as banks, advisors, and insurance brokers.

The new simplified issue term product features API capabilities, an advisor portal for tracking application (or applicant) status and commissions, and Haven Life’s “seamless digital buying experience.” When it comes to the consumer-facing experience, partners can choose from a variety of options including a co-branded landing page, quote widget, quote API, and telesales which allows an advisor to capture an applicant’s answers over the phone. Haven Life is also working on a partner-hosted API solution, which will enable customers to apply for the product online without leaving the partner’s website.

The portal includes conversational prompts, e-signatures and consents via text to streamline the process for both the partner and the client. Once an application is submitted, the policy is underwritten in real-time to provide an instant decision on coverage eligibility. If approved, the customer can login to their account and start coverage immediately. The applicant status and associated commission are both tracked through the portal.
