Hagerty promotes Marc Burns to CMO, hires Matt Teshera as SVP of Marketing
Hagerty has promoted Marc Burns to Chief Marketing Officer and appointed Matt Teshera as Senior Vice President of Marketing as the company looks to strengthen its brand and membership strategy.
In the newly created CMO role, Burns will focus on growing and deepening member relationships, increasing brand awareness, and aligning Hagerty’s insurance, marketplace, media, and events businesses into a more integrated membership experience. Teshera, who reports to Burns, will lead marketing strategy, membership growth, insights, and marketing execution, with an emphasis on developing a more personalized, tiered membership model designed to improve engagement and long-term loyalty.
Teshera joins from AT&T, where he led consumer acquisition and growth, and previously held senior roles in broadband marketing, analytics, and enterprise data solutions.
Hagerty provides insurance and related services for automotive enthusiasts and protects approximately 2.7 million vehicles across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
