Gyde
, an AI-native brokerage platform, has acquired Avid Health, a Medicare-focused agency based in Palm Beach, Florida.
The deal marks Gyde’s first acquisition since launching publicly with $60 million in funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company is positioning itself as a platform for brokers across insurance, wealth, and health, combining operating teams with AI infrastructure.
Avid Health specializes in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D, serving beneficiaries—particularly those aging into Medicare—through plan selection and ongoing policy management.
As part of the transaction, Avid Health brokers will use Gyde’s platform, including GydeOS and Gia. The system is designed to surface coverage gaps, support cross-sell opportunities, and automate client engagement through SMS and voice, including reminders, scheduling, and basic servicing.
The acquisition reflects Gyde’s focus on Medicare distribution, where broker-led guidance remains central as plan complexity increases. The strategy centers on equipping agencies with tools to scale client management and retention without changing their distribution model.
