GUARD launches contractors package

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD  has launched a Contractors General Liability and Inland Marine insurance solution for artisan contractors, expanding its small commercial product lineup.

The product is initially available in Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania, with additional state expansions planned later this year.

The offering is designed for contractors that do not maintain a permanent physical location and primarily work at third-party sites and job locations. It combines general liability coverage with inland marine protection for tools and equipment and offers optional coverages including Errors & Omissions and Hired and Non-Owned Auto Liability.

The product features a streamlined digital quote-to-bind process aimed at delivering quick quotes and minimizing underwriter referrals.
