Group 1001 announces Chief Risk Officer and Chief Internal Auditor appointments

Group 1001 announced that Dan Healy has been appointed the Chief Risk Officer, Group 1001, and Mark McCallister has been promoted and will succeed Dan as Chief Internal Auditor.

Healy has been with Group 1001 for more than nine years and has been acting as the interim Chief Risk Officer for the Life & Annuity business unit for the past several months. He consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of our risk management process. In his new role, he will oversee the enterprise risk management function across all of Group 1001’s business units, ensuring that we maintain a strong risk-aware culture and a common and consistent risk governance framework.

McCallister has been the Managing Director, Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Consultation at Group 1001 for the past three years. He previously was the Vice President of Internal Audit at Guggenheim Partners. In his new role, McCallister will be responsible for identifying and implementing internal controls and compliance initiatives across the organization.
