Greenhouse Specialty raises $750K

Greenhouse Specialty , a newly formed specialty program administrator, is positioning itself around a tightly controlled distribution strategy and environmental-focused coverage offerings.

Founded in 2025 and based in Richmond, Virginia, the company operates as a specialty program administrator, offering tailored insurance solutions through a select group of partners rather than broad agency distribution. Its model emphasizes relationship-driven underwriting and curated access to specialized risks, particularly in environmental exposures.

The product suite includes a “Greenhouse Package” that bundles general liability, contractors pollution liability, professional liability, and site pollution liability, alongside excess and companion auto coverage designed for environmental risks. The structure suggests a focus on niche commercial segments where underwriting expertise and packaging matter more than scale.

On the capital side, Greenhouse Specialty raised $750,000 through a Rule 506(b) offering, with the full amount already sold to a single investor. The minimum investment was set at $750,000, and no sales commissions or finder’s fees were reported.

The company is led by president Joshua Rubin and vice president Geoffrey Bernardo.
