Goosehead pays $5.5 million for Vivint’s insurance agency

Last month, Goosehead Insurance announced a partnership with Vivint, which included buying the insurance agency of the home security company.

Goosehead is now disclosing that it paid $5.5 million in cash to acquire over 15k policies as part of the deal.

In late 2021, Vivint shared that its insurance agency was on pace to end the year with around 8k policies.
