GM National Insurance Company releases Q2 2026 results
GM National Insurance Company, the licensed carrier that’s part of General Motors, published its Q2 2026 results, ending the first half of the year with $63.8 million in written premiums, up from $21.8 million a year earlier.
The carrier reported a net underwriting loss of $51.1 million, up from $33.4 million in the first half of 2025.

The carrier generated premiums in 21 states with Texas ($22.8M), Michigan ($9M), Georgia ($7.1M), Illinois ($4.7M), and Ohio ($2.8M) as the top five.
