Generali Greece Launches New Telematics Program

Generali Greece has launched Generali My Drive, a new telematics program that can help policyholders save up to 30%.

Currently available for new and existing customers with an Android device, the app records the route conditions and the driver’s driving habits to later provide an individual score after each trip. Once the app records at least 250 miles, the data is processed and the driver gets a personalized profile, which can lead to premium discounts.

In July 2015, Generali group announced the acquisition of London-based MyDrive Solutions, a provider of telematics solutions with the goal of launching a group hub for telematics and big data.
