Generali Global Assistance realigns North America leadership

Generali Global Assistance announced leadership changes to align its U.S. and Canadian operations under a unified North America structure.

Chris Carnicelli, previously CEO of Generali Global Assistance in the U.S., has been promoted to CEO, North America, overseeing operations across the U.S. and Canada, including Trip Mate and Europ Assistance Canada. Rob Iafrate, CEO of Europ Assistance Canada, will report to Carnicelli.

Paul-Adrien Maizener, formerly Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed CEO, United States, where he will focus on operations and growth. Henrik Romberg, Chief Commercial Officer, has expanded his responsibilities to include the Tour and Cruise business under Trip Mate, in addition to vacation rental, online travel agency, and retail segments.

The changes are intended to improve coordination across markets and support expansion of the company’s travel protection business in North America.
