Generali finalizes acquisition of Seguradoras Unidas

Generali finalized the acquisition of Seguradoras Unidas and the service company AdvanceCare from Calm Eagle Holdings and Calm Eagle Parent Holdings – entities that are majority-owned by investment funds managed by certain affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc.

Generali has received the required approvals from all relevant regulatory bodies and competition authorities and therefore completed the transaction announced on 18th July 2019.

Pedro Carvalho will be the CEO of the insurance entities of the Generali Group in Portugal (Generali Vida, Generali Seguros, Seguradoras Unidas), directly reporting to Jaime Anchústegui, CEO International of Generali.
