GCN launches bicycle insurance in the UK

Global Cycling Network, a media company focused on cycling, has launched GCN Insurance, which offers a range of coverages for riders and their bikes in the UK.

Riders will have three coverage options – liability only, theft and damage, and one that includes both. There are also options for personal injury, medical, travel and event coverage.

GCN has partnered with Gator Bikesure to offer the new coverage, which is underwritten by Red Sands Insurance Company.

GCN is part of Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Play Sports Network, the world’s largest cycling media company and community. The company claims that it reaches more than 40.1 million cycling fans and riders globally.
