Gallagher expands capital advisory team with Laura Repko hire

Gallagher UK appointed Laura Repko as Senior Director, Capital Solutions, within its global Private Equity and M&A practice as the company expands its transactional risk and capital advisory capabilities.

Based in London, Repko will focus on insurance-backed capital solutions for lenders and borrowers across areas including credit enhancement, working capital financing, regulatory compliance, and capital event situations. She will work alongside Gallagher’s M&A Transactional Risk and Real Estate Advisory teams.

Repko joins Gallagher from HSBC, where she served as Investment Director, Direct Lending. She previously held roles at Deutsche Bank, Beechbrook Capital, and Permira Credit, and brings more than 15 years of corporate finance experience.

According to Gallagher, the appointment is part of a broader investment in M&A, private capital, and portfolio solutions across EMEA and the U.S. The company provides services including risk and insurance due diligence, warranty and indemnity, structured credit, tax liability, and contingent liability solutions for corporate transactions.
