FTP partners with Cogitate amid ClarionDoor lawsuit

Insurance wholesaler FTP Inc. has picked Cogitate as its policy admin solution.

According to the press release, FTP is modernizing its policy administration and agent user experience with the adoption of Cogitate DigitalEdge Policy. “Cogitate’s product suite has been purpose-built for insurance intermediaries and carriers to reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies, and provide a frictionless, modern customer experience.”

The news emerges amid an active lawsuit filed by FTP Inc. against ClarionDoor , an enterprise software solutions company. “The suit, filed by Powell Kugelman & Postell on behalf of wholesale insurer FTP Inc., accuses the defendant of failing to timely deliver a functional ‘Digital Distribution Suite’ software product for which the plaintiff paid nearly $200,000.”
