French Health Insurer Alan Expands Into Life Insurance

French startup Alan, which has launched last year to provide businesses with an easier option to buy and manage health insurance, is now announcing its expansion into corporate-owned life insurance . While Alan is a full stack health insurer, it will be leveraging its relationship with CNP Assurances (think: an investor) for the life side. According to Alan CEO Jean­-Charles Samuelian, the company didn’t expect that there would be a lot of demand for this product. But it turns out that most of their clients want to simplify their insurance contracts by centralizing everything with one insurance company. This is Alan.
