FOXO expands rural hospital services with new wound care offering
FOXO Technologies has launched inpatient and outpatient wound care services at Big South Fork Medical Center, its critical access hospital in Oneida, Tennessee. The move targets growing demand—particularly from diabetic patients—and aims to improve outcomes while generating additional revenue.
The hospital is part of FOXO’s Rennova Community Health subsidiary. FOXO also operates Myrtle Recovery Centers and FOXO Labs, its biotech division focused on longevity and health innovation.
Earlier this month, FOXO secured $1.5 million from existing investors through a preferred stock offering, with the first of three closings on June 4. The capital will support an acquisition and help strengthen its financial position.
FOXO reported $3 million in Q1 revenue and stockholders’ equity of $9.7 million—up from negative $17.5 million last fall.
Originally launched as youSurance under GWG Holdings, FOXO offered saliva-based life insurance underwriting using epigenetic testing. After its 2022 IPO, it shifted focus to healthcare services and technology, now operating across diagnostics, rural hospitals, and behavioral health.
