Farmers becomes the first insurer to offer ridesharing coverage in Montana. The coverage is purchased as an endorsement to Farmers personal auto insurance policy and provides coverage for period 1, aka from when a driver turns on the ride-hailing app until a ride has been accepted, at which point their TNC affiliate’s commercial insurance coverage kicks in.
