Faye launches eSIM service

Travel insurance startup Faye is now offering travelers an eSIM solution following a partnership with Gigs, which enables companies to embed connectivity products into their apps.

Faye’s travel eSIM offers data access across multiple destinations. Customers can activate their eSIM directly from the Faye app and connect to high-speed networks in over 190 countries worldwide. Travelers will be recommended three different travel eSIM packages depending on the destination and duration of their trip. Packages range from 1 GB to 20GB. The eSIM works across multiple regions, requiring activation only once, and can be used alongside a primary physical SIM or eSIM.

“At Faye, our mission is to go above and beyond with a product that supports your entire voyage with quality service and value. Staying connected abroad ought to be easy and shouldn’t cost the world. With just a few taps, travelers can now activate their eSIM directly in the Faye app, and avoid hefty roaming fees or the hassle of getting a physical SIM card abroad. We’re seeing significant adoption from travelers already, who can now enjoy high-speed data from the moment they land, whether traveling across Europe, Latin America or Asia.” – Doron Samish, VP of Product at Faye Insurance.

“Roaming data and travel insurance go hand-in-hand, and as the leading digital travel insurance platform, Faye is uniquely positioned to fuse these travel necessities under one roof. By embedding connectivity into its app with Gigs’ API, Faye taps into the $30bn data roaming market, bundling essential services like insurance and connectivity to simplify travel and drive deeper customer engagement. We’re excited to see Faye leading this charge and look forward to supporting their customers with Gigs’ connectivity capabilities.” – Dennis Bauer, Co-founder & President at Gigs.
