Faura to wind down in October

Faura , a property risk and climate analytics startup, will wind down operations at the end of October 2026, four years after its founding.

The company set out to make homeowners a source of verified information about their properties and help insurers assess resilience to natural disasters. In its announcement, Faura said it collected thousands of verified property assessments and built integrations for assessing disaster risk.

“We remain optimistic about the future of insurance and climate resilience,” the company said, adding that the problem it set out to solve remains.

Founded in 2023, Faura raised approximately $7.9 million across disclosed funding rounds.
