Falvey partners with Canopius around inland marine coverage

Canopius , a global specialty reinsurer, is announcing a new partnership with Falvey Insurance Group , a managing general agent whose current lines include ocean marine cargo, all-risk shipper’s interest, vessel pollution and logistics liability, to offer inland marine coverage in the United States. This marks the first time that Canopius US Insurance and Falvey will be writing inland marine coverage in the region.

Beginning this month, Canopius will provide the paper for Falvey, who will act as the managing general agent for this new product line. This partnership will help Canopius U.S. increase the density of its product suite by offering this product line to its 5,000+ customers and 2,000+ agents in the United States through FIG.

The new inland marine coverage product is available by broker appointment with Falvey. The coverage has potential availability for agents and brokers across Canopius’ entire distribution base, both regional and international, in the future.
