Fabric rebrands, launches new app

Brooklyn-based life insurance provider Fabric by Gerber Life has a new look and a new app. “We just launched a free app to help you protect your family’s long-term financial well-being. Get the iPhone app and tackle your parent “must-do” list today.”

Established in 2015, the team of ~33 operates in the space of insurtech and legaltech, offering life insurance policies issued by Vantis Life and an app for wills and finance management. “Fabric makes creating a will easy (and free), giving you the ability to create a will in just minutes. Our last will & testament allows you to appoint a guardian for your kids, name beneficiaries for your assets, create a mirror will for your spouse, and choose an executor. It comes with step-by-step instructions on how to make it legally binding, and allows you to easily share your plans with those who matter most.”

Finally, Fabric’s app leverages Plaid Technologies to pull one’s account information (bank accounts, credit cards, and investment plans) into one place.
