Experian launches new insurance feature
Experian is introducing the Ongoing Rate Monitoring feature, which alerts consumers if there’s a better rate on their auto insurance policy.
The new feature is available to users who enroll in a free Experian membership. Once enrolled, users can enable the feature and add their current insurance rate after providing some basic info.
Once rate monitoring is enabled, users get to see the average rate in their area, which is estimated based on quotes Experian offered in the last 30 days to consumers in the area.
“We know it’s a hassle to shop for auto insurance, so we delivered a solution to save consumers time and money. With inflation still impacting consumers’ wallets, a large expense like auto insurance can be financially challenging for many people. Experian does the hard work of monitoring rates finding consumers cost savings not only today but potentially in the future.” – Rakesh Patel, executive vice president, Experian Insurance Marketplace.
