Ethos Life has a new app

Ethos Life has a new app on the App Store but it’s not actually new.

The life insurance startup took over Tomorrow’s will creation app and gave it a new name and colors, but that’s not all. Ethos has also changed Tomorrow’s model – the company’s basic will creation service used to be free and now users will need to pay $49 for a will and $199 for an estate plan.

Tomorrow’s website also went through a redesign that wasn’t well-thought-out. The menu bar is entirely dedicated to Ethos’ life insurance offering, not wills. However, there is a noticeable call-to-action for estate planning and Ethos also highlights that the service is free of charge with most life insurance policies provided by the company.

Ethos has also integrated its life insurance into the app but it isn’t a full integration – users are redirected to Ethos’ website. In the acquisition announcement, Ethos said that it will begin offering policies through the Tomorrow app by mid-2022.
