The insurer disclosed that its information security team identified unusual network activity on Saturday, June 7, which prompted the company to take immediate action to safeguard its systems and data. Since Saturday, the company has continued to take protective action for the security of its systems.

The insurer also shared that it is working with law enforcement and conducting a comprehensive forensic analysis with the assistance of cybersecurity experts to gain a full understanding of the event.
